Welcome! We’re so glad you’re here. At Risen Community Church, everything we do centers on Jesus—His love, His truth, and the life He offers (John 10:10). Our mission is simple: to help people grow in their relationship with Jesus. As a Bible-based, Christ-centered church, we’re committed to supporting you and your family as you grow in faith, build meaningful relationships, and discover your God-given purpose (Ephesians 4:15-16).

We believe church is more than just a Sunday event—it’s about doing life together. Whether through uplifting worship, clear teaching, small groups, or serving our community, we strive to live out God’s love in practical, impactful ways.

If you’re exploring faith for the first time or looking for a new church home, you’ll find a warm welcome here. You’ll meet friendly faces, find opportunities for all ages to connect, and experience a community eager to walk alongside you.

We gather in DeMotte, Indiana, on Highway 10—just east of the Sheriff’s Annex on the north side of the road. Join us for coffee and fellowship from 10:00 to 10:20 AM, a relaxed time to meet others before our service begins at 10:30 AM.

Our Beliefs

At Risen Community Church, our beliefs are rooted in the Bible and centered on the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. While we don’t claim to have all the answers, we are passionate about following Jesus and living out His truth in everyday life.

1 Corinthians 15:3-4

God

We believe in one God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—eternally existing in three persons. God is the Creator of all things, perfectly holy, just, loving, and full of grace.

Matthew 28:19

Jesus Christ

We believe Jesus is the Son of God, fully God and fully human. He lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, rose from the dead, and offers salvation to all who trust in Him.

Romans 10:9 

The Holy Spirit

We believe the Holy Spirit is active and present today—guiding, empowering, and transforming believers to become more like Christ and to live out God’s purpose.

John 14:26

Salvation

We believe salvation is a gift of grace through faith in Jesus—not something we can earn. It brings forgiveness, new life, and a restored relationship with God.

Ephesians 2:8-9

The Bible

We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God and the ultimate authority for faith and life. It reveals who God is and how we are to live in relationship with Him and others.

2 Timothy 3:16-17

The Church

We believe the Church is the body of Christ, made up of all believers. We are called to gather regularly for worship, grow in faith, serve others, and share the hope of Jesus with the world.

Every Sunday morning, we offer:

  • Adult Bible Study at 9:00 AM right here in the church.

  • A men’s breakfast Bible study with Pastor Kerry is in the works!
    Keep an eye on the events tab and subscribe to our calendar so you don’t miss the upcoming dates.

  • Fellowship from 10:00 to 10:20 AM with:

    • A variety of baked goods, snacks, donuts, and sometimes breakfast pizza

    • Fresh, hot coffee and other refreshments

    • All available for free—just come early, relax, and enjoy some time with others before the service.
